The design of a visual programming tool rely primarily on the ability to prove that a set of interaction will enable the relevant range of building possibilities that are expected.

- A model
The legislation is expressed with text. I needed to translate it into a model that can be translated into software. This model would also be the base for the design of interactions. I used the Unified Modelling Language (UML) standard to complete my modellisation - An Information architecture
The hierarchy and the labelling of information used in the configuration software and around needed to be specified before jumping to prototypes. This work was based upon sorting card exercises. - Interaction spécifications
The configurator is a visual programming interface. The number of possibilities of display was infinite so its impossible to mock it up exhaustively. So I choose to explicite all the interactions with short scenarii explaining components behaviour - An interactive prototype
The prototype demonstrates all the interactions by prototyping interactively a set of scenarii.
